Average Indian Student
Day of an Indian Student:
Yesterday, I started reading a fascinating book that emphasised the importance of writing things, such as daily journals. This will be a place where I write a peak into my life and I hope this can be someday used to write a biography for me— when I become a respected and famed chef. Today, as always I went to school and it was boring as ever. One interesting thing that happened in school was career counselling—So, I was called down to the principal's chambers and I had to wait for a few minutes and there was my classmate there with me who I could say was my friend. First, she went in and almost came out after 30 minutes. I was already jittery with my nervousness. I went inside the principal's chamber hoping my luck. When I went in Principal Ma’am “REQUESTED” me to settle on an office chair that had wheels and was thickly padded, It was not the best chair I had ever sat on but definitely the best in a school scenario. Our principal, She casually asks for my name in the “Friendliest” possible manner.
I knew she was asking me to give an introduction. So, I went on with my name and passion. She was really interested in my love being cooking after some more casual chats about why I should partake in more things at school. The gist was she reminded me that the 2 years I have before graduation are the things at stake if I want to leave my mark on the school, There was also push/motivation to the extracurricular activities in the school such as having stalls in the Diwali mela. I as of now can talk in fluent English at the level I can easily converse with Prince Charles, but the incredible nervousness made me stammer sometimes. Ma’am looked at my speaking proficiency and told me that I should contest in debates more often. At home nothing much interesting happened after school I watched a video about my passion for cooking more specifically on “Scampi shrimps”.
Then tuitions were timid and nothing much more than the voracious cycle. As of now I have completed my S.S.T homework and have some pending work in English, Mathematics and French. Today out of the blue I was reminiscing about a book I wrote a few years back—So, so I decided to check it out and cherish the memories I have tied with the book. On Amazon, there is an option to read the free sample and from that, I read the samples of the chapters. The chapters are named so deeply that I thought I was onto something. As of now—I have a lot of work to do today sadly still I can’t escape this planet. (Sadly but truly all Indians have written one book over their lifetime and talk about it as an achievement)
How amazing it is to hear about the stuggles
